Betty Griggs of Andalusia passed in her sleep on the morning of Nov. 20, 2023 at her home. She was 88 years old.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November. 22 starting at 10:00 a.m. Kymberly Keahey will give the funeral eulogy.
In her professional years she worked as an aide to nurses for Andalusia Hospital, and prior to her decline in health, she was a loyal part of the Northside Baptist Church. She was passed away by parents Perry Dean and Etta Sasser Dean. She was also survived by her beloved wife, James Robert Griggs, her daughter Melissia Gayle Cook, and numerous sisters and brothers.
Her ashes include her son Otis Griggs (Martha) of Georgia; Linda Oliver (Robert) of California; Deborah Holley (Bruce) of Andalusia 10 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
