Anniston, AL –In the spirit of spreading holiday cheer and warmth Angel Cakes Creamery and Angel Cakes Paint and Party invite you to join us for a special event for the community on December 1st between 6:00 and 8 at night. Come join us for a night of making cards, a heartwarming event that aims to bring joy to our seniors in the local area.
This special gathering isn’t a formal workshop or professional card-making class; rather it’s a chance for the entire community to get together and make hand-crafted cards for seniors living in rehabilitation and assisted living facilities. You can make a single card or 100 it’s your choice.
The event is completely free for all participants. Donations are accepted to cover the cost of the event’s supplies, however they’re not required. The objective is to show affection to the local senior population. Organizers will provide construction papers glitter glue, markers, glue and other materials for crafting. Participants are welcome to bring other things they’d like to use in their cards. If you’re unable to attend, but would like to help to the cause, craft supplies are welcomed. Alongside card making they also accept donations of food items to seniors’ gift drives.
Get into the spirit of Christmas with live music throughout the day. Enjoy free warm chocolates and sweets while you create and socialize with other members of the community. This event is designed to bring together our community to create beautiful and unique cards for seniors living who reside in local care facilities. Your participation and donations will surely have an enormous contribution to brightening up the holiday season for our dear seniors.
