Juneau Police have released a Silver Alert for an individual who was missing on Saturday morning from Riverview the Senior Living facility in Clinton Drive.

In the newspaper release on Sunday police stated that Nathan Wilder Bishop, 58 who has Parkinson’s disease as well as dementia. He, if tired can lie or sit down, rather than asking for assistance.

The press release describes Bishop is a white man approximately 6-foot tall, and weighing 200 pounds. Bishop is wearing glasses. He could wear a brown t-shirt and grey pants, however there’s no coat.

Bishop had last been seen around the time of 5 p.m. on a Saturday. In the evening, first responders and volunteers scoured the area where Bishop was missing but could not find the missing man.

Anyone who would like to assist in the search should sign into the command center located in the parking lot.

Police are also requesting those who live within a distance of two miles from the senior center to inspect their properties and their surveillance cameras for signs of Bishop.
