  • Comments from the public on general issues.

    • A local resident reported the meeting held with the Mayor concerning local streets and concerns about the condition of roads. She stated that he had referred the resident to Mr. Stanley in the street department. She also said that the mayor declared that citizens should be able to apply common sense to make the right decisions when using roads. She also claimed that she had a lookup of the laws and found standards to be safe. She also mentioned she was told by Mr. Stanley referred her to the Mayor. She felt that the recommendation was not effective since the Mayor does not believe that all roads require modifications and changes. She emphasized that there are safety concerns and that changes must be implemented to improve safety.

    • Councilmember Green expressed his gratitude to all who helped in his participation in the Tree Lighting and Parade. He also praised his retirement “Gary” and praised him for his efforts.
