The Mr. Walter Robert Smith, aged 87, of Andalusia died Friday, December. 1st, 2023 in the Andalusia Hospital.
Funeral services took place on Tuesday, December. 5 11 a.m. in Oakey Ridge Cemetery with Brother Ed Ganus officiating and Foreman Funeral Home conducting. Visitation hours were from 9:30 until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Foreman Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Smith of Andalusia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Carlton Killingsworth and Cathy and Jeffery Martin, all of Andalusia; grandchildren, Dana Haymons, Jason Killingsworth, Macy Martin, and Heather (Ashley) Cravey; great-grandchildren, Patrick (Shannon) Haymons, Ashton Teel, Olivia Cravey, and Riley Cravey; a great-great-grandchild, Branson Haymons; one sister and brother-in-law, Erma and Grady Williamson of Andalusia; and brother and sister-in-law, Mac and Deborah Smith of Searight.
He was passed away by the first woman he married, Jo Ann Shiver Smith.
Pallbearers included Jason Killingsworth, Patrick Haymons, Ashley Cravey, Riley Cravey, Sonny Thomasson, Chris Thomasson, and Ashton Teel.
