Closing Lukeville crossing is bringing bedlam to the Arizona border

It is reported that the Lukeville Port of Entry on the border between Mexico and Arizona has been shut since Dec. 4, adding more hours to the journey of Phoenix residents headed to the beach, and Mexican tourists looking to buy gifts for the holiday season. An increase in migrants entering into the southwest U.S. prompted U.S. Customs and Border Protection to shut down the Lukeville port in order to concentrate its efforts on processing immigrants…
