Anniston, AL –In an uplifting celebration of the spirit of Christmas, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the Cheaha Region held its first Christmas celebration on December 17th, a Sunday at the historical Kress building located on Noble Street in Anniston. The event, which was aimed at raising money for CASA’s mission of being a voice for the abused as well as neglected children proved to be a huge event that left an indelible impression on the local community.
Over 70 kids enjoyed an afternoon filled with fun with laughter and fun events in the Kress. The day was filled with snacks, crafts as well as story time. There were also special appearances from beloved characters like Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman and the Grinch and, the star of the show Buddy the Elf. The festive atmosphere made for the perfect experience children, creating an appreciation for the magic of Christmas.
