Anniston, AL –As frigid temperatures are threatening Anniston the city, it is taking steps to ensure the health of its citizens. In the evening an open-air warming station will be opening the doors of The Bridge, located at Anniston First United Methodist Church (1400 Noble St, Anniston, AL 36201). The station will provide a warm place to stay during the cold night, and will be open from 5:00 pm CST until 8 AM CST every evening until 22nd December 2023.
In anticipation of the expected weather conditions and the expected weather conditions, it will be extended the hours of operation on Wednesday, 20 December 2023, starting at 6:00 pm CST. The possibility of additional extensions will be assessed in light of the changing forecasts of weather.
