Pleasant Home School senior volleyball players Hailey Ward and Meredith Wilson were selected to take part in the 15th annual East-West Set-N’Spike volleyball game that took place this past weekend in Huntsville.

The seniors were among the older players of Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio and Georgia to take part in the competition. Ward and Wilson each played a part in the East team winning the match with a score of 3-2.

“These young ladies are part of the Pleasant Home volleyball team that has been a force in the sport of volleyball in south Alabama for the last several years. They’ve been on regular visits to the South Super Regional tournament in Montgomery and also to Birmingham for the Elite Eight state tournament in Birmingham. We would like to wish all the best to these girls in their future endeavors.” PHS Head Volleyball Coach Tony Wilson said.

The two Ward as well as Wilson are eagerly anticipating their graduation from high school in 2024’s spring and plan on continuing their education as well as pursuing possible volleyball career in LBW Community College.
