Anniston, AL – Rabbit breeders and enthusiasts are preparing for an exciting show in the meantime as Southeastern Bunny and Cavy Shows, LLC is preparing to present an extraordinary event on the Calhoun County Expo Center. The event, which is scheduled for the 19th and 20th of January in 2024, promises an unforgettable event for both participants as well as the spectators.

The event will start with a single Youth/Open All breeds show, on January 19 with all special shows. The next day, on January 20th, will see the Triple Open/Youth All Breed show. The show is pre-entry only and does not require entry cards for comments, and prices are priced at $5 for each rabbit in the Open/Youth categories.

For participation, those interested have to submit their entry by email prior to the deadline of January 16 2024 at 9:00 midnight ET. Late entries are accepted until January 17th 2024, which will be at 12:00 midnight at 12:00 PM EST. It is vital to know that entries cannot be accepted via telephone calls or Facebook messages, text messages or messages on social media.

On the 19th of January 2024 at 6:30 pm at 6:30 PM, the Specialty Shows will take the center stage. The participants must be checked-in before 6:00 pm EST for the special shows. This includes SEBACS Open Rex Specialty, SEBACS Open Rex Specialty, SEBACS Open/Youth Holland Specialty, SEBACS Open English Spot, Checkered Giant, Tan as well as the Rhinelander Specialty. In addition there will be The Southeast Silver Fox Rabbit Breeders Club Open Specialty Breed Show with Silver Fox rabbits will be the highlight of the festival.

The show will feature the variety of rabbit breeds, such as Open Rex, New Zealands, Beveren, Satins, Mini Satins, Americans, Dutch, Holland Lops, Mini Lops, Silver Fox, Netherland Dwarf, Britannia Petites, Havana, Checkered Giants, Rhinelanders, Tans, English Spots, English Lops, French Lops, Lionheads, Himalayan, Harlequins, Mini Rex, and Lilacs.

An impressive panel of judge will assess the contestants, including Josh Humphries, Fayth Young, Jim Rowland, Bruce Ormsby, Andy High, George Larue, Rob Frizzell as well as Donald Sheets. Donna Barabas will serve as the Registrar.
