We regret to announce that David Glenn Freeman, a Dozier native, died Dec. 23, 2022. He was born in Haines City (Florida) on August 25, 1955.

Our dad was one of the most generous and kind people on the planet. He worked tirelessly to make sure his family had all they needed. Our dad taught us the value of hard work early in his life. His family was always supported by him, whether it was helping with their car, house, or any other issues. He was a man of faith and taught us about the importance of hard work and family. After many years working for Russell Athletic in Alex City, he decided to start his own construction company. He even built their new home tirelessly until his death. As a hobby, he loved to pick up and resell items. He always found the best deals.

Gladys Mae Campbell Freeman, his parents, Early Lane Freeman (predeceased), and his siblings, Terry Wayne Freeman, Terry Wayne Freeman, Jr., Charlotte Ann Freeman McGuire, and Early Lane Freeman Jr.; Alec B. Tyndall.

His wife Wanda Freeman and his brother Jerry Dale Freeman are his survivors. He also leaves behind his children Rodney Freeman of New Site (Alabama), Michelle Sewell (Randy), and Rodney Pittman (Michelle), all of Chipley, Florida. He also has two grandchildren, Shauna Johnston, Lane Freeman, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Stone Lake Cemetery. The visitation will start at noon on Thursday. The officiating priest will be Brother Lee Jordan.
