The Andalusia Chamber of Commerce announced the date for the Christmas parade this year and the 10th anniversary of the community’s Christmas tradition in Candyland.

The parade will take place on the Thursday of November. 30 around 6 p.m. and will feature an “It’s the season for Candyland Christmas!” theme. Parade entry forms may be accessed on the Chamber’s website at andalusiachamber.com.

“Candyland can mean different things to everyone. We’re looking forward to seeing the level of creativity each contributes in this season’s holiday theme.” AACC Director of Membership Services Maggie Holmes said.

The tenth anniversary of Christmas in Candyland starts on Friday, December. 1 and will run through four weekends in December until Saturday December. 30. The hours of operation are Fridays between 5 and 9 p.m. Saturdays are open between 1 and 9 p.m. and Sundays between 1 and five p.m. The special Santa sending off event will be held on the evening of Thursday, December. 21 between 1 and 9 p.m.

The Chamber will provide dates and times for certain Candyland activities at a later time.
