ACS approves personnel changes for 23-24

The Andalusia City Schools Board of Education approved several personnel changes at a meeting held Thursday, June 8.

During the meeting the board approved:

Resignation

Christy Clanton as AES kindergarten teacher
Annie Howell as AES special education teacher
Isaiah Thornton as AES behavioral paraprofessional

Retirement

Anthony Mikel as AHS agriscience teacher

Status Change

Cole Carroll from AES special education teacher to AHS agriscience teacher
Amy Bryan from AJHS seventh grade advanced math teacher to AJHS eighth grade advanced math teacher

Granted Tenure

Emily Odom – speech therapy

New Hire

Raven McDaniel as AES cafeteria worker
Paige Campbell as AJHS English/reading intervention teacher
Tyler Blackwell as AHS physical education teacher
Delisa Freeney as AHS assistant cafeteria manager
Gabrielle Maloy as AHS reading intervention teacher
