A community can make Christmas brighter for a child who is in need of presents.
Andalusia Christmas, Inc. is a non-profit annual program that is funded by citizens and civic clubs in Andalusia. It provides toys and clothing to children aged 2-10 years.
These families registered 212 children, ranging in age from 2-10 years old. They also included their clothing sizes and requested toys. Each child was assigned an ID number. The information was written on an angel card. Angels can be adopted at local businesses such as CCB Community Bank or Southern Independent Bank, Walmart and Piggly Wiggly.
You can drop off the packages and the adopted angel card on Friday, December 9, at 1 p.m.- 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, at 8 a.m., and Sunday, December 11, from 1-5 p.m., at the Kiwanis Building, South Bypass. Wrapping gifts should be avoided
You can also mail tax-deductible donations to Andalusia Community Christmas, Inc., P.O. Box 1525, Andalusia (AL 36420). FEIN# 20-0211790
