The Andalusia High School Scholarship Foundation (AHSSF) has chosen Aubree Caldwell to be the beneficiary of their 2023 class of 1948 Scholarship.
Caldwell is the child and the eldest child of Joey Caldwell and Erin Grissett. She is salutatorian for Caldwell’s Andalusia High School Class of 2023. She will be attending Auburn University in the fall to study nursing.
The Class of 1948 Scholarship will grant $6,000 towards Caldwell’s freshman enrolling at Auburn and will be renewable for a further three years of study at the undergraduate level.
She will be joining with four fellow Andalusia High School graduates who are currently recipients of the the Class of 1948 scholarships. These college students include Dawson Kennedy, a rising senior at Auburn University majoring in industrial engineering; Chelsea Baldwin, a rising senior in Troy University majoring in business; Cooper Taylor, a rising sophomore at Auburn University, majoring in journalism and Soniyah Chambers is an incoming sophomore at the University of Alabama, majoring in biology.
Andalusia High School Scholarship Fund was created on the 23rd of November 1993. It was established by class of 1948.
In the last 30 years In the past 30 years, the Foundation has given out the equivalent of 32 college scholarships and 22 scholarships for study abroad during the summer for Andalusia High School graduates.
