A community of people can to make the Christmas of a child happy and bright for the child who’s family is in need may not be able buy gifts for the Christmas christmas tree in the coming year.


Andalusia Community Christmas Inc. is a non-profit annual program that is funded by the civic and community clubs of Andalusia aids families facing financial hardship that reside within the Andalusia, Straughn, Red Level and Pleasant Home School districts by giving out toys and clothing to children between two and 10 years old.


The families have registered around 275 children between the ages of 2 and 10, with their sizes for clothing and toys the child has asked for. Every child has been issued identification numbers. The information of the child has been recorded on an angel’s card and angels can be adopted by local establishments:


  • CCB Community Bank

  • Southern Independent Bank

  • Piggly Wiggly

  • Walmart


The boxes, as well as the the angel cards adopted by the family and angel card, should be delivered to the Kiwanis Building located on the South Bypass on Friday, Dec. 8 from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday December. 9 and from 8 a.m. until noon, and on Sunday 10 December. 10 from 1 until five p.m.. Don’t wrap gifts.
