The Andalusia City Schools Board of Education approved a number of personnel changes that included the two Andalusia Elementary School assistant principals in an event held on the 15th of June on a Thursday.

AES has now three assistant principals, under the direction of principal Victoria Anderson. Heather Bulger will remain in her current role as assistant principal.

Traneshia Birch was thrilled to be a AES assistant principal, after being a math coach at the school.

“I’m extremely excited and happy to be among the assistant principals who have been hired in Andalusia elementary school. I want to thank you ACS Board members, and Mrs. Anderson, for trusting and supporting me in my transition into the position of instructional coach into an instructional coach. I am looking at the opportunities this new role brings, and it’s going be an amazing season for me at AES,” Birch said.

Bradley Stephens is also excited about his new role to serve as the assistant principal of AES following his previous stint as the principal of Lyeffion Junior High School outside of Evergreen.

“This is an excellent chance to return to my family and to work at the same school that my children attend. I am excited about working with a wonderful administrator, the office of Ms. Anderson. I am aware of the wonderful teachers I look to working with, too. I am excited for having the opportunity to progress professional as an administrator, and be confident that AES I am in the right location to fulfill that dream,” Stephens said.
