The Andalusia person who met with with a confidential informant to offer methamphetamine, a drug that is illegal and methamphetamine, to be incorporated to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton He was arrested for multiple offenses on Monday.
Bobby Ray Morris, 54, the address 5863 Bradley Road, was charged with two counts of illegal possession of controlled substances trying to sell drugs illegal possessing drug-related paraphernalia, and promotion of contraband in prison.
He was detained by the Marathon Station about 1 p.m. at 2277 Douglas Ave., on November. 2. Then, he was released on an amount of $250,000 as bail.
According to court documents according to court records, on November. 2 Morris was in contact with an individual who was working as a member of police from the Brewton Police Department. He was instructed by that person to meet Morris in Brewton’s Marathon Station in Brewton to make a deal for 200 dollars worth of meth.
The records state that Morris went on his way to Marathon Station, where he was waiting for the person cooperating to show up and was arrested in the presence of Brewton police officers after attempting the commission of a controlled substance-related crime.
The records state that Morris was discovered to be with numerous Suboxone strips that he was unable to obtain an order for.
After being transported to the detention facility, the court records reveal that state police officers discovered the glass pipe was stuffed with meth residue as well as meth.
