University of Alabama student David Dillard from Andalusia is enrolled in the UA’s Cooperative Education Program for the summer 2023 term. Dillard is employed by Neptune Technology Group Inc.

Within the Cooperative Education Program, students are able to alternate full-time studies along with full-time work. The program is designed to provide work that is related to the major academic or professional interests of every student.

When they are at the school, students are required to follow a regular schedules of their classes. On co-op, students are paired with experts in their field who oversee their learning and activities. In the workplace, co-op students receive competitive wages and get benefits packages, in addition to gaining invaluable work knowledge. Students keep their full-time status when they are at work and enjoy priority registration status throughout the semester until graduation.

Knowles Completes Pathfinder ProgramLogan Knowles of Samson completed Troy University’s Pathfinder Program during the Spring of 2023.

The Pathfinder Program is a collaborative collaboration with Career Services and Academic Advising created to make students feel at ease about their chosen choice of major and career.

Students who successfully complete the course must have completed Troy 1102 Major Exploration & Planning, passed their Focus2/Career Coach Assessment, and scheduled an appointment to their Advisor for Pathfinder to announce their major.

Kelley is awarded the Outstanding Undergraduate Award at Troy

Jeremy Kelley of Samson was among the students who were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements and leadership during Troy University’s Honors Convocation.

Kelley was awarded an award from the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Student Undergraduate Award.

The Honors Convocation took place on April 21, 2015 at Dothan Campus. Dothan Campus. Dothan Campus Vice Chancellor Dr. Don Jeffrey, Dothan Campus Vice-Chancellor, delivered the address of welcome, and the event was followed by a reception to welcome the participants as well as their families.
