The Andalusia Police Department is investigating an altercation between roommates which was reported to have occurred around eight p.m. the night of Thursday December. 28 in the area of Second Avenue.
The suspect, who contacted 911, told police that he had been shot. He was later airlifted to treatment.
Capt. Brett Holmes of the APD said that the investigation into the incident is in progress, however investigators are not yet capable of determining if someone was actually injured by the bullet fired. The projectile was discovered at the site of the incident.
There are no charges made.
