The pursuit began early Sunday and ended in Butler County when a suspect led two-county police agencies.
William Daniel Little, 43 years old, is from Forest Home, Butler County. He was taken into custody after the chase ended. The Covington County Sheriff’s Office could file additional charges.
According to Opp Police Chief Kevin Chance, the pursuit lasted approximately an hour and a quarter hours.
The suspect was followed along Hwy. 84 to Andalusia, then River Falls and Red Level along Hwy. 55. The driver took a left turn onto Hwy. 55 on Garden Road, and then through McKenzie before returning to Hwy. 55, and into Georgiana. The pursuit came to an abrupt halt at Little’s Forest Home home, south of Greenville.
Numerous law enforcement agencies were involved, including OPD and CCSO, Andalusia Police Department Greenville Police Department and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
