The Alabama State Department of Education announced its grades on the report cards for school year 2022-2023 in all public schools across Alabama, on Thursday December. 14.
Covington County Schools received a 90 score, this is an A which is an improvement over that of the prior year’s score which stood at 88. In addition, six of the eight schools in the system had higher scores.
The individual scores of the system are:
- Covington County Schools – 90
- Fleeta Jr. High School Age 83
- Florala High School The school has a population of 87.
- Pleasant Home School – 87
- Red Level School – 86
- Straughn Elementary School The Straughn Elementary School –
- Straughn High School 85
- Straughn Middle School-93
- W.S. Harlan Elementary School The school is located in 82
“We felicitate our schools for this achievement,” Superintendent Shannon Driver stated.
