The Christmas season is upon us, particularly for those living in Candyland, the City of Andalusia where holiday celebrations marked the beginning of the Christmas season and celebrating the 10th year anniversary of Christmas celebrations in Candyland.

On Thursday evening on Thursday night, the Andalusia Chamber of Commerce for the Andalusia Region held its annual Christmas parade which was the largest ever, with 125 participants.

“It’s amazing to be in a community that is welcoming and welcoming. We had the largest number of spectators and the most impressive floats during this year’s Christmas parade that I’ve ever witnessed. The floats of this year fit the themes perfectly. They brought the festive spirit to life. We are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed to making the annual parade possible. You should be proud of where you are,” said AACC Executive Director Mellisa King.

On Friday, the city officials met for a ribbon cutting ceremony, officially inaugurating the year’s Candyland. There are a variety of Candyland activities will take during the coming weeks. Candyland cottages will be open on weekends from December. 1 and 22. Cottages are open from Fridays between 5 and 9 p.m. On Saturdays between 1 and 9 p.m. The cottages will be open on Sundsays between 1 and 5 p.m. The cottages will be open on Dec. 29 between 5 and 9 p.m. and the last day will be on Saturday the 30th of December. 30 between 1 and 9 p.m.
