Edward Norman King, age 86 loved father, husband grandfather, friend, and father was peacefully passed away in his home surrounded his family.

Born on January. 2nd, 1937 on the 2nd of January 1937 in Rose Hill, Alabama to Edward and Nellie (Rhoades) King. He served as an Army Ranger for two years. He was also wed to his partner Ruby Jo (Clark) King for 18 years. Edward was famous for his expertise in construction work as well as his business career.

Funeral services were held on the 6th of June in the morning at 11 a.m. in the Rawls Baptist Church Cemetery in Dozier. Pallbearers paying tribute to Edward include Jeremy Bond, Rev. Jerry Tyson, Greg English, Ronnie Gay, and Brian Norris.

Edward was survived by his wife Ruby (Clark) King and an Son, Glenn King of Pensacola and a stepson, Greg English of Gantt Stepdaughters, Melinda Clark (Ronnie) Gay of Andalusia and Lisa English (Tony) Godwin of Andalusia and an older younger brother named Billy (Brenda) King of Wetumpka, Alabama. In addition to Edward are his children, Clark Gay, Wesley King, Brittany King, Kayla (Zac) Mott, Brandy (Jeremy) Bond, and Heather (Bryan) Norris; great-grandchildren Zander Mott, Xadie Mott, Salina King, Raylynn King, Jordan Bond, Abbie Bond, Sara Kate Cinereski as well as Savannah Cinereski.

Edward was killed by his brother, Joey King, in the year 2018.
