Two teams from the county remain in existence after making it through the first stage of state baseball’s playoffs. They will play in the second round on Wednesday, April 26 until Saturday on April 29.
Double elimination is the rule in a best-two-of-3 series.
First and second games in the second round of each match will take place in a doubleheader on one day in the sequence. The host team will act as “home team” during the opening game in the series. The team traveling will serve as the “home team” during the following game. The home team will be the home team if a third game is needed.
Alabama High School Athletic Association has set the price of admission. Alabama High School Athletic Association has set the cost for entry at $10 per doubleheader, and $8 for a third match.
All tickets will be available through GoFan. Tickets will not be sold at the at the gate.
Red Level (10-7) will play Leroy (16-17) Leroy (16-17) in an event scheduled to start on Wednesday, April 26 with a game at 1 p.m. If the need arises for a third match to be played, it will take place on on Thursday the 27th of April at 3:00 p.m.
Florala (14-2) Florala (14-2) play at Billingsley (16-3) in a match scheduled match that is set to start on the following Friday around 4:30 p.m. If a third match is required to be played, it will take place on Saturday, April 29, at noon.
Second-round winners will go on to the quarterfinals, which are which is scheduled for May 5, and on Saturday May 6.
