The Andalusia High School Band Boosters congratulated Bennie Shellhouse at a reception that was held in the Andalusia Chamber of Commerce in the area on July 31, Monday between 6 and 8 p.m.
The band boosters handed Shellhouse with a certificate to commemorate his 19 years of his tenure as the director of the band at AHS. The guests could reminisce about his time as director.
After 27 years conducting two band groups in Straughn High School and AHS, Shellhouse began a new chapter in his career as the principal of Goshen High School. Shellhouse is shown above together with wife Mary Ellen Shellhouse, as well as their children.
