Jo’s Community Dinners is a community outreach that serves free meals at Christmas and Thanksgiving. It also served over 450 Christmas meals.

Jimmy Grimes assists in the preparation of the meals.

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church received the meals and picked them up. Thanksgiving Day saw more than 500 meals served.

St. Mary’s coordinates the outreach. This is an ecumenical effort that is supported by First United Methodist Church, Christ the King Catholic Church, and local civic groups.

Terry Kyzar (who coordinates the kitchen effort) and Jan Morris (who coordinates the administrative part of the effort) expressed their gratitude to all those who helped to prepare the meal and to those who contributed.
