Justin Parker Wilson was a beloved husband and father. He was devoted to his friends, and loved by his entire family. He died Nov. 21, 2022.
Parker was born in Meridian (Mississippi) on August 26, 1986. He graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School and Shelton State Community College. The Ocean Operation gave him his commercial diving license.
Parker met Rachel at the 2008 Iron Bowl. The couple developed a lasting and loving relationship, from Auburn to Tuscaloosa, Pensacola, to Andalusia. In November 2021, Heath was born to the couple.
Parker was a driven individual who proved to be a valuable asset throughout his career, as a diver with Cal Dive International and as a manager with Better Built. He also owned and operated his own business, Pensacola-based Wilson Waste Services.
Parker was a lifelong lover of water. He loved the ocean and fishing. Parker will always be remembered by his friends when they hear the sound of waves crashing.
Parker’s visitation will take place at Foreman funeral home on Friday, November 25, at 5 pm. Funeral services will take place at Bethany Baptist Church at 11 am on Saturday, November 26, with Nathan Daniels officiating. Foreman funeral home will direct. After the funeral, burial will be in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
His wife Rachel Wilkes Wilson and Heath Edward Wilson are his survivors. Many close family and friends will miss Parker, including Danette (Tim), April (Casey), Borden, Brad (Chelsea), Keen, Skylar [Jessica] Crowe, Savana (“Jordan”) Abbott, Ellen Wilson and Madison (Chris”) Collins. Hunter (Allison] Smith, Hunter (Allison”) Chancey, Campbell (Ethan”) Chancey, Libby Wilson and Beth and Buddy Wilkes. Rebekah (Za) Erickson, Mary Beth (Brad), Sarah Anne (Jol) Erickson, Mary Beth, and his beloved nieces and her husband, and Sullivan, and their 21 loved nephews and uncles).
His father Edward Earl Wilson and his grandparents Ruben Wilson (Alice Skipper) preceded him in death.
Parker’s family accepts flowers and in memoriam donations to a scholarship fund for Heath Wilson.
