Kiwanis Covington County Fair is an annual event. Kiwanis Covington County Fair will be held from Oct. 23-29. We are soliciting booth and vendor applications.

The fair opens on Monday, October. 23rd, 6. p.m. with entertainment by The Andalusia elementary school show choir as well as The LBW Ensemble.

The general admission price for most nights costs $5 or $20 to enjoy unlimited rides. Children 5 and under are admitted for free.

Tuesday, October. 24, the gates will are open from 6 p.m. The event will be an Adult Citizens Day at the Fair starting at 10:00 a.m. through noon. The show starts on Tuesday around 7. p.m. and includes dancing with the LA Kickers line dancing.

Wednesday, October. 25th is Family Night, Military Appreciation Night and Church Night. If you bring a non-perishable food item are eligible for admission (between 7 and 6 p.m.). The guest speaker is the pastor William Worley. Doors begin from 6 p.m. A Community Choir is scheduled to perform on the stage inside starting at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, October. 26 will host a the special Children’s Day at the Fair between 10 a.m. until noon. Gates are open to regular admission from 6 p.m. The entertainment on the outdoor stage starts around 7:15 p.m. It will include bands from the Straughn High School String Band, Greenville High School String Band as well as The Burning Bush Family.

On the Friday of October. 27th, the gates will are open from 6 p.m. The entertainment will take place on the inside stage, featuring Alyssa Jones 5 Runs Karaoke Contest Winner.

On Saturday, October. 28th, the gates will are open from 6 p.m. A karaoke competition will take place on the inside of the stage, with registration taking place from 5 until 5:45 p.m. The competition starts around 6 p.m. The contest is restricted to 25 participants.

On the day of Sunday, October. 29 there will be no fair rides to be enjoyed. The fair will be open from noon until 6 p.m. and the entry fee will be $25 per ride.
