Miss Linda Clare Bates, 82 Miss Linda Clare Bates, 82, of Red Level, passed away on Tuesday, February. 14th, 2023 at her home.
Funeral services took place on Friday, February. 17 at 3 p.m. in the Fairmount Cemetery with Brother Josh Kyser officiating, and Foreman Funeral Home in charge of the service. There was no formal visitation scheduled. The family was able to visit with relatives in the cemetery.
They are survived by a number of cousins from both the Bates and Terry side of her family. These include Dianne Branum from Opp; Demond Nolan and Andy Nolan of Red Level; Lisa Veasey of Andalusia; Karen Baggett, Elaine Booker along with Kenny Bates of Evergreen; and many more family members.
She was predeceased by parents Ernest Bates and Verna Terry Bates. She is also survived by her special acquaintance, Arnold Brooks.
