Mary Joy Trawick Maddox of Andalusia died on the 16th of August 2023 at her home.
Funeral services took place on Friday August 18, at 11 a.m. The funeral was held at the Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family was able to receive friends for an hour prior the funeral service. Rev. Scott Donaldson officiated. Funeral services followed at Stone Lake Gardens.
In her ashes daughters Diane (Ronnie) Hart of Andalusia and Angie (Trae) Anderson of Andalusia and stepdaughter Brenda (Grady) Melvin of Florida and one other sister Betty Sue Edgar of Dothan and grandkids, Melissa Bedsole, Jason (Jessica) Hart and Derek Adams Great grandchildren, Tra (Beth) Bedsole, Hailey Adams, Beau Hart, Cameron Adams, Cheyenne Adams; great great grandchild, Joshua Crenshaw; and numerous cousins.
Her death was preceeded by husbands Elmer Trawick and Cleatus Maddox as well as son Rickie Trawick; three sisters, Lena Bell Morgan, Annie Laura Messick, Judy Gibson and Judy’s twin brother Jerry Ray Messick; and others brothers: Charles Messick, Jonas “Pete” Messick, Cloy Harvey Messick and William Messick.
Pallbearers included Jason Hart, Derek Adams, Tra Beldsole, Cameron Adams, Keith Kelly and Beau Hart.
