The second time around, Fortune Magazine has recognized Southern Pipe & Supply as one of the top 100 companies for Millennials across the nation.

Southern Pipe and Supply, with over a hundred and thirty offices across seven states, with a branch in Andalusia is the largest privately-owned supplier of plumbing, heating air conditioning (HVAC) mechanical, industrial, and waterworks products throughout the Southeast. Southern Pipe is the only distributor in the United States to have been chosen to be on the Fortune list of the Fortune 500.

Fortune collaborated with its long-standing researcher Great Place to Work to assist in identifying the top employers for people that were born between 1981 and 1997 — a generation that has a reputation for admiring firms that have strong values and a desire for opportunities to grow. Fortune has been accumulating these Millennial designation since the year 2015, when the smallest group of Millennials reached 18 years old older and began entering the workforce.

To be eligible as a contender for this award, companies need to submit an application that outlines more than two hundred details about their human resources programs and procedures.
