Students in the healthcare field can apply for scholarships

The Jerry Garrett & Starlinne Sullivan Memorial Scholarship was established for Alabama residents who are enrolled in healthcare. It is geared towards those working in the nursing or EMS fields.

The deadline for submissions to this scholarship is March. The $500 award will go directly to the school of the recipient and is administered by bold.org, a non-profit website. Each year, four scholarships are given. Applicants should visit bold.org to search for the Jerry Garrett Memorial Scholarship and the Starlinne Sullivan Memorial Scholarship.
