The Covington Arts Council has announced casting dates for auditions in the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) performance on Monday, October. 23 in the Dixon Center for the Performing Arts located on the Andalusia campus of LBW Community College.
The auditions should begin at the time of 3:15 p.m. and be prepared to stay for two hours. A few actors are required to stay for a practice immediately after the audition.
The roles that are to be played are the Princess as well as the Pea King and Queen Size from Riverdom, Storm King and Snow Queen of Glacierdom and the Prince. the playful Jack Frost, the citizens of Riverdom and Glacierdom as well as the Dust Bunnies as well as some pretending to be Princesses, not even to forget some leprechauns who are meddling.
All students who are entering the 1st through 12th grade are invited to audition. There is no requirement for preparation in advance. Assistant Directors will be assigned to assist in sessions throughout the week as well as to assume important backstage duties. Participants should be able to clearly mark their schedule for the week since rehearsals will take place each day.
Its Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions come with costumes along with scenery and props. MCT Tour Actors/Directors will conduct rehearsals every day after school.
The Princess and the Pea will be performed on Saturday, October. 28 between 2 and 3 p.m. at the Dixon Center on the campus of LBW Community College.
