The Covington County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Scherf Drive home located in Andalusia Wednesday night in connection with information pertaining to the male suspect wanted in connection with multiple probation revocation warrants for felony offenses.
In the course of an investigation following arrival, the deputies found an enormous amount of marijuana, ecstasy and cocaine. Numerous firearms were also seized as well as a significant amount of money.
Trava Keon Chambers, 29 who was arrested and taken in the Covington County Jail. Chambers faces multiple charges which include possessing a controlled drug, marijuana possession in the first degree trafficking in drugs and possessing drug-related paraphernalia individuals who are not allowed to own firearms, as well as a bondsman on bond. Chambers probation revocation warrants were issued in addition.
“Please be aware of the packaging in the photos and take a look at the candy like substance inside the bags that are clear. It’s not candy and must be kept away from children. If you find anything similar to this, please let us know,” Sheriff Blake Turman stated.
The bond amount for Chambers was set at $306,000.
