The Pilot Club of Andalusia recently presented Meredith’s Miracles Executive Director Kiley Spears with a check of $2,500.
Spears expressed her appreciation for The Pilot Club for their generous donation and support this year.
“It was amazing to receive assistance by members of the Pilot Club this year. We are grateful to all local clubs in our community. We are extremely thankful for their generosity and are able to assist many families by providing that cash,” she said.
in 2022 Meredith’s Miracles provided funding for medical travel in the 911 hours for children that totaled more than 157,000 dollars. This year the local non-profit organisation has funded approximately 100 trips per month for the first month.
“The demand for funds is so important. Thank you for helping us,” Spears added.
Pilot members participated in an annual Cookies with Characters event during the weekend that ended in February.
“We are grateful to Kiley and all those involved in Meredith’s Miracles for the work they do to support children of our community,” Pilot Club President Mellisa King said.
