Mr. Thomas Joseph Sowell, aged 77, of Red Level passed away on the 28th of March, 2023 at his home, with his family.
Funeral service was held on Thursday March 30, at 2 p.m. The funeral was held at Hopewell Baptist Church. The family was able to receive friends in Hopewell Baptist Church one hour prior to the service. Rev. Barry Wilkinson officiated; the music was performed through Pastor Joey Ogletree, Adam Cobb as well as Bethany Huckaba. The funeral was held the funeral in River Falls Cemetery. The pallbearers for the funeral were Jason Nall, Andy Riley, Mike Stokes, Chris Threatt, Edgar Lambert, and Joey Ogletree. Keahey Funeral Home is charged in the arrangement.
In the memory of his loving wife Eula Pat Sowell, daughters Sherry Sowell and Sowell Roper (Casey) and Casey Roper of Andalusia; Angelia Kay Worley from Andalusia and two granddaughters, Sheridan Wright of Andalusia, and Jamisyn Wright from Andalusia. He was preceded by his mom, Mary Sowell; four brothers: Gene Sowell, Wade Sowell, James Sowell, and Kenny Sowell. He was. Sowell loved carpentry work and fishing, attending church or spending quality time with his daughters.
