Three people are flown to area hospitals following a single car crash

Three patients were transported to regional hospitals following an accident with a single vehicle this early in Sanford. Sanford community.

Officials from officials from the Covington Sheriff’s Office of the County, EMS, and firefighters from Andalusia and Sanford were called at five a.m. up to Snuffy Road in Sanford where the accident occurred.

Three people were inside the vehicle. Two of them were taken for treatment at Sacred Heart Trauma Center in Pensacola while the third one was transported into Baptist South at Montgomery.

An investigation of the accident is ongoing and there are no additional details available.
