A collision between two vehicles on Tuesday led to three injured people being taken to the hospital.
The report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash took place around 4:45 p.m. The crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 29, which is about a mile to the north of Gantt.
ALEA said it was a crash in 2008. Ford Crown Victoria driven by Anthony O’Riley Tillis, 19 from Andalusia was involved in a collision with an 2019. Nissan Altima driven by Amanda Nicole Lewis 24 who is also from Andalusia. A 3-year-old passenger was in the vehicle along with Lewis. The three of them were injured, and were transported off the spot to a local hospital.
Tillis was not wearing an airbag at the moment of the crash. He was taken by ambulance to Southeast Health, according to ALEA.
The information is not being given as state troopers continue their investigation.
