Mrs. Virginia Ann Cook McGowin Aged 80, from Andalusia died Saturday, November. 25, in the Andalusia Hospital.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Foreman Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. The family will greet guests on Thursday, Nov. 30 between 6 and 8 p.m. on the premises of Foreman Funeral Home.
Mrs. Virginia Ann Cook McGowin was married to her partner of 64 years Francis A. McGowin of Andalusia as well as daughters and sons-in-law, Kenneth and Barbie McGowin of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Dan and Leslie McGowin of Red Level as well as a brother and sister-in law, Glen and Cindy Cook from Andalusia Sister, Joan Waterson of The Villages of Florida and grandchildren, Lee McGowin, Samantha Ann McGowin as well John Stephen McGowin. Great-grandchild Kaylee McGowin.
Mrs. Virginia Ann Cook McGowin was predeceased by her the sons Steven Francis McGowin and John McGowin; and a daughter, Katrina Ann McGowin.
