Robbie Weaver of the Oakey Ridge community announced on Tuesday, October. 31 that he will to run for office on Covington County Commission for Dist. Covington County Commission in Dist. 2.

Robbie is the owner of a small business graduated from Pleasant Home School and Reid State Technical College.
He was introduced to politics as a young man following his time at Alabama Boys State at the University of Alabama and decided at some point that would like to be a politician and represent the people of his county.
“I am determined to scrutinize the way we spend taxpayer money and ensure we are honest and transparent regarding our budget and financials. We must remember that we exist to serve the public and maintain the trust of the public,” Weaver said.
Robbie has been married for a while to Summer (Jordan) Weaver. They have three kids: Kathleen, Kent and Kash and are students at Straughn Elementary School.
Robbie along with his wife members are members of the Bethany Baptist Church of the Heath community.
“I am going to make choices according to what is the best to Covington County. When I pledge to work for you, the residents who live in Covington County. I respectfully would like to have your vote March 5, 2024.” Weaver said.
