Jacksonville, AL –Hosted by the Jacksonville State University Department of Art and Design on July 28th, 2023. Calhoun County Community Art Show will be open from 4:00 pm until 7 in the evening in the campus of Jacksonville State University. This annual Calhoun County Community Art Show offers the chance for people living in Calhoun County to enter their work in a juried exhibit. It is organized by the Jacksonville Arts Council and the JSU Department of Art & Design The show is designed to unite the community through the power of creativity.
Admission was available to those who are currently residents in Calhoun County Alabama. This includes Anniston, Jacksonville, Ohatchee, Piedmont, Weaver, Alexandria, White Plains, Southside, Oxford, and the entire communities of these cities. Artists were allowed to submit a maximum of three entries. Ages 16 and over could be eligible for the jury-judged portion of the exhibit.
