Anniston, AL – On 17 November 2023 between 7:30 am and 4:45 pm, the JSU McClellan campus will be the host for the annual 5th Caregivers’ Conference hosted through the EARPDC Aging and Disability Resource Center. The free event is which is located on 100 Gamecock Drive, Anniston, AL 36205 promises a full day with insightful information as well as community involvement and support for caregivers.
The theme for the conference this year is “CAREGIVING is a reality,” emphasizing the often difficult and unexpected nature of caring. This conference will provide help and guidance not only for caregivers, but also professionals who work on the front lines of caregiving. If you’re concerned for your family member, a friend or a health professional, anyone is welcome to join.
One of the most notable aspects of this conference is the possibility for nurses and social workers to get continuing education Units (CEUs). This allows professionals to develop their skills and remain informed of the most recent advancements related to caring.
