Anniston, AL –AlaBenton Genealogical Society of Calhoun County will present a summer-long workshop in Anniston Public Library. Anniston Public Library on August 5th at 11:11am. The guest speaker is Larry Caver, the creator of seventeen Genealogical as well as Historical books Larry Caver. He will present three mini-classes that day, including one. The Road Less traveled: A review of alternative routes taken by the early settlers of Alabama for moving around. 2. The Preponderance of Evidence: how do you prove or conclude ancestral connections using the evidence. 3. the Patrons of Husbandry, a fraternal Order of The Post Civil War South.
The registration for the event starts at 11:30 am on the 5th. Tickets are $35 in advance, and $25 at the event’s door. The proceeds will go towards supporting the Alabama Room of the Anniston Public Library.
