Anniston, AL –In the effort to improve the infrastructure of the city officials have announced a temporary shutdown of the intersection between 11th Street and Noble Street starting on the 19th of December 2023 through Wednesday December 20, 2023.

The closure, required to allow for the crucial repaving work will begin at around 4:30 am CST on Tuesday. This will interrupt the flow of traffic until finalization of the project on the 20th of December.

Both pedestrians and motorists are advised to consider alternative routes for this time since the intersection is not accessible. To ensure a smooth transition, and to direct commuters through areas of construction, barriers as well as road signs with LEDs will be strategically installed.
