Anniston Man is charged with Capital Murder

Talladega, AL – Per the Talladega Police Department on July 5 2023, 2023, detectives from The Talladega Police Department Criminal Investigations Division and The Anniston Police Department arrested Daviontae Q’Shawn Malik Snodgress 23, of Anniston and was charged with Capital Murder in the shooting the death of Quontavius Janard Cooper, 22, from Anniston. The incident occurred on the 17th of June, 2023 near the junction at the intersection of E Battle St and Haynes St. in Talladega. Snodgress is being held within the Talladega County Jail under no bond. It is reported that the Talladega Police Department gave special appreciation to Anniston Police Department for their assistance. Anniston Police Department for their assistance in this matter.
