Anniston (AL) –The Berman Museum is thrilled to bring back the children’s series I Spy, starting with I Spy! Chinese New Year. They will be exploring a different topic or person in history each month through stories, scavenger hunting, and crafts. They will learn about the unique and fun traditions that celebrate the Chinese New Year. I Spy! It is recommended for children aged 6-10 years old, but everyone is welcome.

I Spy! Museum admission includes free entry for members. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
A program will also be held on Saturday, February 4, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. It will focus on Chinese New Year Customs & Traditions. The Chinese New Year celebrations are rich in symbolism, tradition, and humor. Did you know that 2023 was the year of rabbits? What does this mean? What does the symbolism of red and gold mean? Lanterns are hung for a reason. Find out the answers to these and other questions. Cinnabun, AM&G Animal Ambassador will be making a special appearance to share the characteristics of rabbits that are believed to be unique to those born in the Year of the Rabbit.
Members get this program free of charge, and museum admission includes it.
