Anniston – Anniston Police Lieutenant Caballero announced that the Anniston Police Department responded on January 10th to a collision involving two vehicles near the intersection of General Gerald Watson Boulevard and Veterans Memorial Parkway. On arrival, it was found that the driver of one vehicle, a white male aged 88 years old, had died. The 23-year-old white male driver was taken to Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center. He was said to be stable at the time of the press release. Calhoun County Coroner’s Offie currently works to notify the family of the deceased. This accident is still under investigation. No other inflation will be released at the moment.
