These stations will be open 24 hours a day. They will need to be empty at times and they will not be available until they are returned. The following recyclables will be accepted at these stations: cardboard, paper and metal cans. We asked that everyone remember the following important points when recycling: Make sure that recyclables are not contaminated with food or liquid. Recyclables should not be placed in bags or containers. If these stations are not used correctly, recycling centers will not accept them.
Already, the centers are being misused and the city is asking for a proper use of the facilities. Following statement was made. These stations MUST be used. These stations have been misused, and will either remove them or transition to. These stations should not be confused with the disposal day roll-offs that occur on certain days of each month.
