Anniston, AL –On Wednesday, June 28, Anniston, Alabama – The city Anniston will be organizing a field trip to the Legacy Museum in Montgomery. The Legacy Museum provides a comprehensive historical overview of the United States with a focus on the legacy of slavery. Starting with to the Transatlantic Slave Trade and its impacts on North as well as coastal areas throughout America to Reconstruction and the Domestic Slave Trade and Reconstruction The museum offers extensive interactive content as well as compelling stories. It costs $10 per child and the excursion is available to 6th-12th year students. If you’re interested, the departure time is 6:15 AM, while the time for return is 6:15 PM (transport via chartered bus).
